This policy explains how Open Cabin Club (run by Jeremy Ballew, Greenville, South Carolina, USA) handles information from the waitlist at opencabinclub.com.

What we collect

• Your email address
• The cruise line and ship you choose (or the ship name you enter under "Other")
• Your approximate sail date
• The time you signed up
• If you choose: whether you want event and sailing news (and when you agreed), the topics you pick, and the link or campaign that brought you to the site
• A hashed (one-way scrambled) version of your IP address, used only to prevent abuse

How we use it

We use this information only to send you waitlist emails and to match members on the same sailings. If you tick "Send me event and sailing news," we may also send you occasional emails about events, takeovers and meetups. This is optional and off by default. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops marketing emails without removing your waitlist spot. We use double opt-in: you are not added until you click the link in our confirmation email.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data, show ads, or use tracking cookies.

Service providers

We use Cloudflare for hosting and data storage, and Cloudflare Turnstile as a spam check on the signup form. We use Resend to send email. These providers process data on our behalf to run the site.

How long we keep it

We keep your information until you delete it or until the waitlist ends.

Your choices

You can delete your data at any time at opencabinclub.com/delete. For other questions, email hello@opencabinclub.com.

Adults only

The waitlist is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date above shows when it last changed.
